We would like to offer some travel tips with you in this section. They will be constantly changing, so keep them on file for that occasion when you may be able to use them.
Traveling Abroad
- To get the best fares and to avoid expensive surprises, outline your trip ideas with a travel agent from AWWT well in advance.
- Buy as much as possible in U.S. dollars before you go.
- Find out if you need a visa or other documents.
- Get needed vaccinations in advance of departure.
- Photocopy your passport and compile lists of credit card numbers. Leave one set with a friend or family member, and keep another with your luggage.
- Carry travelers checks instead of cash.
-Find out if tips are expected or automatically added to your bill.
- Stop
at city tourist offices (marked with “i”
signs) for the latest information on discounts, events or other information.
