How do you make an ordinary
travel plan into an extra-ordinary "Traveling
with a Purpose" plan?
In order to best show you how
this works, we are going to give you a real
scenario of how a Christian Organization is making
their plans to booster support for their ministry
overseas with an upcoming "Traveling with a
Purpose" event!
The
Scenario:
Tom and
Debbie Johnson who run
Good Sports International
Slovakia, an organization set
up to reach out to the people of Slovakia,
especially the youth, by
establishing youth centers from which a variety of
activities are offered and young people become
trained to be leaders decided they wanted to give
people the opportunity to get involved with their
wonderful ministry. Tom, a former
professional pitcher for the Minnesota Twins, who
uses his talents to reach out to the
children of Slovakia through the avenue of sports,
especially baseball, is now becoming more involved
with the "Traveling with a Purpose" program by
hosting a tour in Europe and finishing off the
tour with a few days of service at his youth camp
in Bratislava June 27th-July 6th!
How do we take
his dream and make it a reality?
Choose the Tour: Prague, Vienna, & Budapest
First of all, in consideration of his dates and
destination of the tour we concluded that we had
to do a tour near Bratislava in order to make the
trip and the missions segment seamless.
We decided the best tour available would be
"Prague, Vienna, and Budapest."

Choose the Dates: July 6th-
July 15th
The youth camp is June 27th-July 6th, so we would
have to tailor the tour to fit well with the camp
dates. The most suitable time would fit
after the youth camp.
Choose the Ministry: Go4SK Youth Camp
In this case, the ministry of choice would be the
youth camp.
Spread the Word:
The next step, would be to promote the trip to as
many people as possible. We help with the
advertising and take care of all the logistics of
the booking process. People will have many
options in making the trip more exciting for
themselves; from optional excursions to extra days
before or after the trip.
