TOUR COST: The price of the described tours in this brochure includes land costs and airfare on a scheduled airline from the airports listed in the itinerary.   Air add-ons from other cities are available upon request.   The cost is $___________ (as listed) for members and $________ (as listed) for non-members

CANCELLATIONS AND REFUNDS:

Any cancellations on the land portion of the tour, are subject to the following cancellation charges:

1.       If canceling tour plans 60 days or more prior to departure, deposit is fully refundable.

2.       If canceling 59-31 days prior to departure, a $150.00 per person fee will be charged.

3.       If canceling 30-15 days prior to departure, a $300.00 per person fee will be charged.

4.       If canceling 14 days to 1 day prior to departure, a $500.00 per person fee will be charged.

5.       If canceling after tour commences, a $750.00 per person fee will be charged.

 CANCELLATIONS BY TOUR OPERATOR:  A Wide World of Travel reserves the right to cancel any tour up to 45 days prior to departure, due to insufficient passenger loads.  In the event that a tour is cancelled, tour participants will receive a full refund of monies paid.  We will also offer assistance you require in finding an alternate tour.

DEPOSIT:  A deposit of $300.00 per person is required to ensure space on the tour, to be paid to A Wide World of Travel.  This deposit is due at the time your reservation is made.  You may deal directly with A Wide World of Travel, either through writing to our  address at: 1340 Como Ave, St. Paul, MN 55108, e-mail: info@wideworldtravel.com, fax at 1-651-644-8144.

DISCOUNTS:  A Wide World of Travel is offering the discount of $50.00 per person if you reserve space on one of our tours  four months before departure.

BAGGAGE HANDLING:  Included in the price of the tour described is baggage handling for one large suitcase upon arrival and departure from the hotels.  Size limitations will be given in the first information package you receive after reserving space on your tour.  This is usually the one piece per person checked through on the airline, which will have a special luggage tag which we provide you.

HOTELS:  Included in the price of the tour are hotels as shown in the described tour brochure, and are all high standard hotels.  We reserve the right to change to other hotels of equal or higher quality if unforeseen circumstances occur.  Some hotels throughout the tour will have heated towel racks, hair driers, trouser presses, and other amenities which are included in the tour price.  Hotel services such as telephones, mini snack bars, faxes, photocopying, and secretarial services are available but they are NOT INCLUDED in the tour price.  Additional services not included in the tour price must be paid by the tour participant directly to the hotel desk at the time of ordering or before departure.  Sizes of rooms may vary between individual tour participants.  Single rooms are available at a surcharge and are available upon request.  All hotel rooms on our tours include toilet and bath or shower.

INSURANCE:   Insurance is highly recommended and can be obtained through A Wide World of Travel.

ITINERARY VARIATIONS:  During local or national holidays abroad it sometimes happens that museums, galleries, sightseeing tours, shopping possibilities, concert schedules, etc. might be affected.  In such instances, itinerary changes may be necessary.  If unforeseen conditions and circumstances beyond our control arise, or if improvement of the itinerary is deemed necessary, A Wide World of Travel reserves the right to change itineraries.

MEALS:  Included in the price of the tours described in addition to the daily breakfasts, are dinners as indicated on the itinerary by (B- Breakfast, D-Dinner).  No beverages are included in the tour price.  Some hotels do include water, coffee and tea, and you will be informed what is included after being seated for dinner. 

PAYMENT:  Checks are preferred for payment on the tour, however you are welcome to pay for the tour of your choice with a money order or credit card. ** We accept MasterCard, Visa, American Express, or Discover credit cards only.  Full payment must be made upon receiving the final billing.  An invoice will be sent to you.  Please wait for invoices from A Wide World of Travel before making any payment. 

PASSPORTS:  Citizens of the United States and Canada traveling outside of the United States must have valid passports. If visas are required A Wide World of Travel will inform you and if needed will assist you in obtaining them.  Citizens of other nations, but resident aliens in the United States must have a valid passport of their country and they must carry with them their United States "green card" to re-enter the United States.  The names -given on the passport and the names on the airline tickets must be the same so as to avoid confusion when airlines check passports on departures.   

ROOMMATES - SINGLE OCCUPANCY:  We will attempt to pair up singles with appropriate roommates.  Please provide us with information on yourself in a written letter so that we can find you a compatible roommate.  Please include brief information about yourself, about preferences, likes and dislikes, etc.

TIPS AND TAXES:  Included in the price of the land tour are tips and taxes for the meals and baggage handling unless otherwise indicated by your tour director.    Gratuities to the bus driver, tour escort, and tour guide are NOT INCLUDED.  Recommendations on appropriate tips will be given in one of the information packet.
